Life Drawing

As a counterpoint to the leisurely pursuit of oil painting, I find the immediacy and results of life drawing exhilarating. That a minimum of strokes, marks and erasures can come to instantly describe weight and form is irresistibly seductive.

All drawings are Conte crayon or compressed charcoal on various grades and types of quality cartridge paper and most are A1 size: approx. 2ft X 2ft 8in  (600 X 800 mm).
