Driven mad by the relentless reasoning of the bad guy ‘Logic’, Ophelia opts for her cold fate in the briny waters of the Clyde. She holds the silver ball from the pinball machine that featured in the Stadium Café. It symbolises life’s gambles and risks; she played and lost.
Life no longer makes sense; her expression is perplexed. None of the old rules of her youth seem to apply. There was a reason we lost the likes of Hendrix, Janice Joplin and Jim Morrison among many when negotiating the choppy waters of this phase of life…
